The Citizenship programÂ
Learning the Indian Constitution and civic sense early on

One of the pivotal steps in education is navigating good citizenship. Unfortunately, in the largest populated country in the world, the civic sense, the citizenship duties, rules, and regulations seem to take a back seat.

Awareness of rights and civic duties early on helps create a generation that understands the shared roles and responsibilities of a citizen.
At GharShala, regular sessions on civic sciences, discourses, debates, and role plays are conducted to help children understand the importance of a disciplined, responsible adult citizen who contributes heavily to national growth.
Impact: Increased sense of belonging to the country, knowing geography, and fellow countrymen. Children became aware of citizenship, duties, and how to act in public places. They learned to maintain hygiene in public places, about reckless driving, noise, other pollutants, and what they can do about them.
